In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting decision-making processes and driving financial efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  2. Mentor younger students.
  3. Prepare financial statements, reports, and forecasts accurately and in a timely manner.
  4. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  5. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  6. Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
  9. Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and responses.
  10. Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives.
  11. Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.
  12. Communicate financial information effectively to stakeholders and management.
  13. Perform ad-hoc financial tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. CPA or relevant certification is a plus.
  10. Experience in budgeting and forecasting preferred.
